6 Card Omaha Need some help

I was at my local casino last night and somehow got into a game of dealers choice and found myself playing a lot of 6 card omaha. Does anyone have any pointers or tips on this game cause I got beat at it pretty badly. I thought I was unlucky but I didnt really know what I was doing so I just stuck to big pairs. I had AAKK86 and limped in from SB flop comes A,4,9 with a heart draw. I push all in and get 4 callers. Is this normal in this game. Are there any tips on this game on this forum???

I've never even heard of this game, but theoretically at least it sounds like it would drive any sane man to kick his wife & divorce his dog.

I'm pretty sure the key to this game is going to be that you want to hold the nuts and have a redraw to the nuts.

And based upon that AAKK86 hand it sounds like this game is super juicy. [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]

Sounds like you really need to just play the nuts with a few redraws to even better hands. That's pretty sweet to get so much action on that AAKK86 on that flop. I've never heard of this game.

I belive it is a home game played the same as regular Omaha but you start with 6 cards in your hand.
