Default Laser Eye Surgery

I was just wondering if anyone had done this, I am thinking about doing it. I saw that you could get your vision improved to 20/15, which would be awesome. Just want to get people's experiences of it, thanks.

I would definitely recommend. I had PRK done to both eyes in 1996. I believe PRK was the first laser surgery to be approved for use in the USA. Have measured 20/20 or better ever since. For the first year or so after the surgery, I had slight "halo" effect when driving at night - basically lights are slightly fuzzy, but that went away after awhile. Not sure what types of laser surgery are being performed today, but I'm sure the technology has made it a pretty simple fix. A friend of mine had Lasix a few years back and I believe they lasered both eyes during the same visit vs when I had mine done, I had to wait 6 months between eyes.

I had Lasik done in 2001 and I'm happy to say it was and will always be the best money i've ever spent. My only complaint has been my eyes are a bit dry now, but that's what drops are for.

When i had it done I got both eyes done at the same time, I could see perfectly the next day.

I am only ~150 degrees on both eyes, meaning I don't wear glasses unless I am sitting in Lecture or driving unfamiliar places. Would it be worth it to get eye surgery? I am 19 years old only. Also, is it possible for my eyes to heal since I am still growing? Thanks.

Talk to a doctor. See what they can do. Usually you have to be 21+ IIRC.

(I'll likely fly out to Cali and do this sometime in the near future ~12 months.)

I believe that your eyesight has to be roughly stable for a certain period of time before they'd consider you a good candidate
