Problems with google desktop
I'm trying to install google desktop and it keeps telling me this...
 When I click "Find" it takes me to this page...  When I click "Windows Live Search" I cant find any links to download "application/x-msdownload" Any help?

Firstly - I dont know why you would want to install Google Dtop, but if you do.........
Just click "save" on the first pop up, to save the install files to your pc. Then browse to where you saved the download, and double click it to install G Dtop.

LOL - Not sure. Prolly Google tryin to pwn ur machine. [img]/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img] You should try a tech forum, instead of a poker forum.
WTF you want that POS Application for anyway? I installed it a year or so ago, and it was just a useless system resource hog. Maybe they improved it, but I saw no real need for it at the time.

I was hoping someone could point me to the software I need to run the thing. I think it's "application/x-msdownload" but but I can't figure out where to download it.
