Villain is an old Korean fish who I've played a ton with in the 10. He's one of three reasons I am sitting.
A fish opens UTG1, three folds and I go 60 with two red Aces. Korean, who is running well and plays his rush every time he does, instacalls from the SB .(I've seen him do this from UTG in the same situation with Q9s and much worse) Flop comes QJ4 with two clubs, checks to me, I bet, Korean checkraises, other guy folds and I call. Turn's an 8 and I call down? |

Might depend on how heavy he plays his rushes, but I 3-bet this flop and see what happens from there.
As played, I like a turn raise if you can fold to a 3-bet or if he calls and donks a bricked river (although at that point I would just really love to see what he had). Because villian is described as Korean fish, I don't hate a call down either. |

I edited the post. He called three from the SB. If he had limped in I'd have 3bet the flop.

I think folding is bad here, I could be wrong but if he has two pair which is more likely than a set and a lot more likely than a straight I still have like 8 outs to pwn him, and he'll 3bet two pair on the turn here.

Also, the times we get 3-bet are rare on this board considering we have take a "give me all your money" line wuith a holding that looks like QQ/JJ. I'm fine calling down though in case you want to counterfeit his 2-pair holdings and because the pot is big. Calling down after getting 3-bet would be terrible though. I avoid all this by 3-betting the flop. |

Extremely player dependent. What have you seen him checkraise w/ before? If he's generally passive and only checkraises w/ top pair or better, then your line is ok.
Personally, against the korean guys i play with, I'm putting in a raise every time. |
