I call, ACE hits on the turn, he checks it to me. Fire 400 into 525?

With an Ace on the board, what possible hands is he raising with pre-flop that you are ahead of? KJ? K10 at a real stretch?

Sure, you may be able to get a higher pocket pair than yours to fold if you play really aggresively, but was that really what you wanted to get yourself into when you called pre-flop? Putting most of you stack at risk with a pair of sixes?

I use position here to try and check i down, as soon as he bets after that turn I'm folding.

A LOT of hands. A normal raising range misses this board more often than it seems...

I would bet ~350-400. Obviously A/Q's are calling, but you can get hands you beat, like 77-JJ to fold, so I like taking a stab here on the turn and then slowing down on the river if the bet is called.
