I'm not going to lay this down on the turn because a lot of the time here your up against AK/KQ/KJ...your a bit unfortunate that villian has the only holding that actually beats you.

All the same on the flop here I like a raise up to between 1000-1200 as I know i'm still going to get called/reraised if the villian has a King in his hand....which is what I would usually put him on here.

But again no way I'm folding this..esp in a tourney of this buy in.

I probably go broke as well. Looking at the action, there's only 3 hands she could have that make much sense though:

KQ - flopped 2 pair. KQ would limp preflop and bet flop/turn like that.
99 - Might limp preflop in EP. The flop bet doesn't make a lot of sense though.
JTs - Obviously, in hindsight, this make sense at every street. Flop bet is a little odd, but not insanely so from EP.

What else could she have that'd be all in on the turn? AK, KK, QQ all would raise preflop for most people.

In a live game with lots of time to think, I might have puzzled out that I was behind (and probably crying called anyway because I suck at laying down even if I figure it out). Online, I don't think I ever get away from a set unless the board is isanely bad.

You played it well...
I like the flop lead and the turn raise....

It's a very strong line though so I don't think this a bluff or even a draw very often....

J10 has got to be a massive part of his range and fits the preflop call and the flop call

I think you can get away from it but it is hard with absolutly no reads on the villian....

Often a times like this I check the players OPR if I can in time and if he's a big winner or a big loser this sometimes can swing the decision...

Raise the flop. This is a great flop to get full value for your set. Qx and Kx will call another bet as will JT. KQ will probably stack off to you if you can build a pot.

You really want to be building this pot to try to get the money in ASAP. Read the anthology threads on betsizing (I think one was started by strasser, not sure about the others).

As played he could have KQ/K9/K2/Q9/KJ/KT/QJ/QT... etc. In general you should not be folding sets in a $2 tournament.

Please also use the hand converter for your posts.

I agree with raising the flop, you are getting called by basically all kings and most queens. This is spot to get some more chips in the pot. As the to rest of the hand, getting it in here isn't a bad thing at this level. He hit, you didn't fill up. O well...

Well, I don't play $2 tourneys, so my context is bad. But all in on the turn with QT/QJ on a rainbow board? K2 is a stretch as well. At the $50 buying level, the hand range for most players isn't that high.

Yeah, in hind sight I should have raised the flop.

I put him/her on a KQ most likely, unless he had KJ and thought my raise wasn't that strong, like you guys pointed out and I mentioned, without much information I didn't really know where I stood in the hand.

The HH converter didn't seem to work for me...is there anything else you need to do besides just copy paste the HH into the box?

Thanks for the responses guys.
