Re: Another (less dramatic) KK Hand
What was your reasoning behind folding the turn? |

Re: Another (less dramatic) KK Hand
The fold on the turn is awful.
If you're going to fold to a raise here, you should just check-call the turn. There's 19.5 BB in the pot when it's one bet to you to call on the turn. You should call there. |

If you're going to fold to a raise here, you should just check-call the turn. [/ QUOTE ] he's in position, so he'd be letting a free card slide off, which is even worse. |

Are you worried there's a chance you might be ahead and that you might give him a free card that might let him come from behind and take the whole pot when he might have folded to a bet? I claim folding is worse than that. Do you see why? |

Re: Another (less dramatic) KK Hand
I don't see how you can fold here either (thoughI don't know either of those guys in the hand with you.) Maverickace probably has QJ and unless GJem is tight enough to obviously have AA or 10-10, the pot is just too big not to look him up and hope that he's either overplaying something or else making one of those strange moves that some of the Stars 1-2 regulars love to try.

im ok with this fold too [/ QUOTE ] I concur. I feel like this is always AA or better. Any thought to calling the flop and raising the turn rather than capping the flop? -DeathDonkey |

Re: Another (less dramatic) KK Hand
Folding this turn for one bet is mathematically incorrect. If he turns over T9 you should still call.
