I think a call is in order here, especially seeing as how you played the hand on the flop. I do think a flop bet may have been more effective in this instance in defining your hand though.I definitely do not think you should raise this river.

i bet this flop often. i checked in this instance because of my vague read...didn't want to play a huge pot here.

as played you have to call, you could easily be inducing a bluff here

also, why are you 3bet pre here with pos?

the 3-bet pre is def not standard. but i will 3-bet a wide range from the button at times against certain types of players.

Call that river, don't raise, KQ does not call.
Bet flop, wtf.

i suggest you reevaluate your 3betting pre strat... sure it puts you in pos in a bloated pot, but you should be able to call here pre with a wide variety of hands and make villain's life hell postflop. The 3bet pre minimizes your maneuvering ability postflop and lessens the extent that you can use your pos as a weapon

3betting here preflop is fine. villain is often stealing blinds here with a 16pfr and a 3bet is good often, if not you take a flop in position.

as played i think you gotta consider folding. i know i probably couldn't (a leak i think) but what do you think a tag calls your first 3bet with pf? that board hits a ton of his range aq, jj, kk, aj in that order. your best hope is that he's betting a10 or qq though i really doubt he calls a 3bet w/ a10 and bets the river with qq.

Villain is probably not value-betting a worse hand, but could be bluffing given your line. I would call, expecting to be good more than 30% of the time.

I like the preflop raise, but I like it more vs a villain with more history.

hmmm...i think 30% is a bit optimistic that he's bluffing. but couple the benefit of seeing his hand and gaining insight on his pf and post flop play, call seems fine.
