Default 100nl, AQ full house, line check

Poker Stars - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $0.50/$1 Blinds - 6 Players - (LegoPoker HH Converter)

SB: $96.40
BB: $114.70
UTG: $102.00
Hero (MP): $107.55
CO: $96.00
BTN: $77.40

Reads: none, villain recently sat down, and i've never played w/ him before

Preflop: Hero is dealt Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (6 Players)
UTG raises to $4.00, Hero calls $4.00, CO folds, BTN calls $4.00, 2 folds

Flop: ($13.50) Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (3 Players)
UTG bets $8.00, Hero raises to $24.00, BTN folds, UTG calls $16.00

Turn: ($61.50) A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 Players)
UTG checks, Hero checks

River: ($61.50) 6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 Players)
UTG checks, Hero bets $34.00

After he called my flop reraise, i put him on KK/JJ/1010 type hands. So I checked the turn, because the Ace would be a scare card to those hands... Also maybe it would look like the ace was a scare card to me and villain would bet river. Given the turn check, and villain checking to me on river, I didnt think he was very strong, thus i just value bet.

How's that logic / line?

I'd bet something like $25 on the turn and shove the river. I don't raise this flop too often atall tbh.

Lots of draws out there, and the KK/JJ hands will probably fold river anyways. Id fistpumpbet. As played i like your river betsizing though

neither do I, like 75% flat call, but I did here because the other player in the hand flat out SUCKED, and would call a raise w/ basically nothing

Looks fine. I like popping the flop a little bigger if I'm raising at all, but it's not that big of a deal.

I might make a little bigger river bet because I'm a value whore, but I think your sizing probably gets called more often.

Why would you want to raise the flop up anymore? To protect from the unlikely flush draw? Even if they hit the flush on the turn we have like 16 outs to win.

It has nothing to do w/ protecting. My logic is if they're calling a raise at all...why wouldn't they call a couple more dollars?

Well the bigger the bet-size the more FE it has usually. Also we don't need to raise big on this flop to get them allin by the river. Hell a minraise on this flop wouldn't be terrible.

yeah but...what would u minraise as a 'Bluff" on this board? TT/99? I wouldn't think either of those hands would put another cent in after a minraise...
