short stack AA hand kinda late in $10 10 min on stars...line check
about 135 players left in Stars $10 10 (81 paid)...I started off fast but went card dead and ended up having to steal just to stay a little below average...
Is my preflop raise here reasonable (too low?) or should I just be pushing? I leaned toward the smallish raise to get action cause I need chips bad to get deep. Post flop I have less than a PSB left so it's going in...what does the Villan have? I think my raise pre makes it clear that I'm going all the way... No,the bet is fine - it borders on big enough to scare off, but you got a caller and that's what's important.
Pretty standard flop imo. It's pretty dry so I might check behind here sometimes in order to let villain catch up or bluff at me with air or weak pps. |

I would not push preflop, your stack is too big for that.
What the others said, very standard. Please use a hand history converter next time. Thanks. |

Result
I guess you're right Adam...he had 55 for set...Not sure I understand him calling 25% of his stack with 55 OOP when I am committed but he hit and I had to pay him off...and so it goes...
Part is results oriented but please confirm that the villan played this horribly...If I push I think he my have called anyway with the 55 |

Re: Result
I agree that villain did not play this well. He has, say 15% chance to call AI after flop (12.5% chance of 5, 2.5% of straight/flush draw). He is getting 5k more chips in a 5k pot, so it is def. -EV. I would more than happy with this situation all day.

I would have shoved pf.
After reading the results, yes villain is an uberdonk. And when he gets results like this, it reinforces his uberdonk play. I think I love him. |

lol pants..agree that after I rant about him I will lokk for him fondly...thought about shoving pre but what a waste of a spot to get chips if he folds his 55...the turbos are chip inhaling tournies and while picking up blinds and limper is nice doubling is better
