Default Value bet this?

Bodog 50max FR but currently it is 4-handed.

Villian is SB no real reads on him.. seems kinda passive.

Folded to SB who completes I check BB w/ 10h8h.

Flop comes 10c6c8d villian bets $1.50 into $1 pot and I smooth call hoping to raise turn.

Turn is 7c. He now checks this scary card and I bet $3 into the $4 pot and he calls.

River is a 4s. He checks again I think about value betting and decide just to bet a small amount in case he is planning to c/r or is being really passive w/ the best hand. I bet $2 into the $10 pot and he calls.

Ok?

Please use a hand converter next time.
Here's a link http://poker-tools.flopturnriver.com/Hand-Converter.php

I raise it up preflop, 810s is good heads up in position.
Or you bet for value on the river or you check, but $2 is a blocking bet, wich you use when you are OOP.

raise his flop bet because a flush card may kill your hand or your action. Smells like an overpair that slow-played pf moronically. You get his stack a good hunk of the time if he has done this. Have you been raising limped blinds a lot?

I'd vbet a larger value on river unless you're trying to induce a bluff raise; that works better if you're oop though and bluff raises on river are really rare for these stakes.

1/2 pot should be good on a scary board like that.

You mean when I bet the river? He checked turn and river. I probably should have bet more but was basically scared I was beat here, but still knew he would pay off w/ a lot of hands. Guess I should have checked if I was going to bet small ammt.
