Underpair Stars .25//50 turn decision.
Villian is 38/10 over 20 hands. I have already seen him b/f flop. Flop AF 3.5
PokerStars 0.25/0.50 Hold'em (10 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums) Preflop: Hero is MP3 with 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. 3 folds, MP1 calls, 1 fold, Hero calls, 3 folds, BB checks. Flop: (3.40 SB) A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 4[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (3 players) BB checks, MP1 bets, Hero raises, BB folds, MP1 calls. I raise here to see if I can get a fold. I am folding to a 3-bet. I am going for a free card on the turn if the raise dosn't fold him. Turn: (3.70 BB) A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players) MP1 checks, Hero bets, MP1 calls. I know MP1 dosn't have an ace after turn. With that high of a flop AF, do you think our sevens are good here? |

Re: Underpair Stars .25//50 turn decision.
I would rather raise preflop than raise the flop.
Raising the flop for a free card is stupid. Not following through on your plan is inconsistent. |

Re: Underpair Stars .25//50 turn decision.
20 hand stat reads aren't.
Seeing he can b/f the flop is. I don't know where your read for the flop play is coming from. |

Re: Underpair Stars .25//50 turn decision.
Id raise preflop to drive out the blinds. Semi-steal.
On the flop the pot is so small I almost don't want to continue. He's aggressive sure, but your hand isn't really strong. You have 3rd pair and there are a lot of cards still out there to beat you. You are basically hoping he has a flush draw. This for me is too much to consider fighting for a 4sb pot. I fold the flop. |
