1. Pot is small, 2nd pair is vulnerable, and pot is small.
2. Standard c-bet.
3. What hands do people call raises with? Hands with Aces and Kings in them. You most likely have 2 outs. Folds happen.

1. You already ruined it by checking instead of betting. As played, reads matter a huge amount. Check-raising is probably okay against this player because his AF is large enough that he might be betting ATC because you checked to him.

2. Insta-bet

3. Insta-muck

Bummer, hand 1 should have stopped before my first check. Reason I checked was that I didn't want to get into a bet, call, bet, call situation with a loose player in a small pot with nothing on my hands.

I can't wrap my thick head around this although it obviously seems to be the preferred continuation. Why is this an insta cbet in the middle of 3 opponents when all I have are 2 overs? I need to understand this.

Because the people who called your PFR don't know which two overs you have.

Unimproved AK is likelier to be the best hand on a paired board, simply because there's five cards in the deck that connect with the flop instead of nine. Betting gets lesser unimproved non-pair hands to fold a potential 6-out draw, and may even fold out a hand that's currently beating you, like 22.

1) Without more of a read I'd check/call and plan on showing down most cards, let him barrel off.
2) Bet the flop and take it from there.
3) Easy fold.
