I got a new 360 Elite today, and want to play online with my frineds, however when I play Halo 2 online the screen is split vertical and it is very hard to see and play, I know you can change this to but I do not know how. If you you please let me know, it would be a great help thanks!

You're going to have to go to the setup menu in the xbox navigator area and go to the tv settings and switch it from widescreen to standard (i assume you're on an HDTV, because halo only goes side by side on wide screen tvs)

it's going to look like [censored] too, since it won't be in HD. sorry.

yes i have an HDTV is there any way to play in HD and not vertical?

i had the same problem, xbox support told me exactly what kkcountry did, since the game only goes to 480p i dont know if playing it in hd would help a considerable amount anyways

Unfortunately no ... wait for Halo 3 though, it'll be vertical split screen there (assuming it's like the beta)
