Final Pot: $1,132.30. villain was like 22/20/3.5 with river AF 0 I prefered the flop check to induce some bluffs and not to build up the pot to quckly as the board is quite ugly. Turn call for potcontrol, river valuebet. Does this line make sense playing deep? Of course for 100BB i´m going broke here. |

Re: AA deep, seeking a line
if your not gonna bet the flop you definately cant go ahead and bet the river
it contradicts what you said about keeping the pot small i think you need to bet the flop and find out where your at |

Re: AA deep, seeking a line
maybe he calls with a worser hand on the river. So its a value bet. If I bet flop and he c/r me, i face an ugly decision how to continue.
Maybe i´m still weak, but i dont like to go broke on a flop like this. |

Re: AA deep, seeking a line
Given how it's played, I'd check the river as well. Better to take down a small pot rather than lose a big one.

Re: AA deep, seeking a line
Looks good, if you don't want to deal with a check raise on the flop. Obviously betting flop is standard.
I like the river bet, and he has a boat when he check raises AI. |

Re: AA deep, seeking a line
I agree this line is fine.
I definately bet river also since quite a few worse hands are likely to look you up and ofc fold to c/r is easy. |
