I push here.
1. The short stack doesn't have that much less than you. You can't just wait for him to get knocked out with blinds this big.
2. You still have enough chips to make the bigger stacks think twice. If you let your stack get too low you will take away your ability to blind steal.
3. You are essentially a coin flip to win against a random hand. You only need to be able to steal the binds a small percentage of the time to make this a great play (considering that the blinds represent more that 50% of your stack).

Another way to think about this is something like this... I'd say you're about (plug your estimate ) to survive this push and get the blinds or double up. If you just get the blinds, you will be in ok shape. If you double up, then you can actually brutalize the SB/BB. If u just wait, then your chances of making it ITM are (compare this number with the first estimated number).

omg presto push... you can't wait the other SS to be blinded out and got a nice hand to steal, just move the chips in.

thanks.

my thinking during the hand was that i should push, but was that it was at BEST going to be a 50/50 so wasn't sure if it was +ev or not, apparently that didn't factor in stealing the blinds because i didn't think that 1,750 was enough to actually damage anyone else's stack.
