I'm new to this forum and have read a lot of posts the last days. I can't quite understand why this is a fold preflop. Ok, you're out of position, but still he's got a very good hand and the raise is minimal. please explain why this is a preflop fold.

The call is probably a little profitable with these 5:1 odds if you're paying attention and play good post flop.

Since most of the people here are multi-tabling and that this hand as a lot of "lose a lot / win very little" potentiel, it is simpler to let it go.

It is a fold even if you are playing just one table, you are too easily dominated and you are barely better then a coin flip if you see 5 cards being massively underdog if you only see the flop.

I don't mind seeing a flop with this hand for 5:1 odds. Only reason I'd let it go is because it's early and too tricky to play without reads and time, which are scarce with multiple tables. Also I don't see AQ, AK minraising; perhaps they call the minraise, but that's a remote possibility. So I like my hand if an ace hits.

The push is fine.. you have FE and lots of outs.

As Rex said, AJ is a hand which at early stages wins very little and lose big.
I do not understand why you want to play it.

I'd play it the same. no way I'm folding AJs preflop getting 5:1 for less than 3% of my stack.
