Re: 50NL Set on drawy board vs river raise
i can't imagine you have more than 20% equity here against his range because you took such a strong line postflop by betting every street. i don't think two pair and TT just call your flop or turn bets. this is air or nuts most of the time. either way, it's not a huge mistake what you do (run an equity calc to see what i mean).

Re: 50NL Set on drawy board vs river raise
I would say call here. I would think he has a hand 4s, 5s, 7s, or the nut flush. I just completly drew a blank of what i was going to say, so can't offer much more.

Re: 50NL Set on drawy board vs river raise
Looks my like a value bet than air here.
I dunno but isn't villain more likely to shove with air and bet this much with the nuts? |

Re: 50NL Set on drawy board vs river raise
I probably call and pray that he has JhTc or a sandbagged (or rivered) set or two pair (54s), but I'm really expecting to see a slowplayed flush or possibly 98. A desperation bluff-raise from something like AcXx or 66 isn't out of the question, so that helps a little.
I suspect folding is actually best. I just don't think I'd actually do it with a hand this strong. |

Re: 50NL Set on drawy board vs river raise
I snapcall. But on a board like this, I will often c/c the river. I know that I might give a negative freeroll, but getting raised with top set on a drawy board like this just sucks and I could induce a bluff by AcXx.

Re: 50NL Set on drawy board vs river raise
I snapcall. This has to be a bluff with a high FD a lot. You'd think a flopped flush would like more money in by the turn with deep stacks.

Re: 50NL Set on drawy board vs river raise
I c/c river. This will often induce a bluff from a busted draw, keeps the pot small if you're behind, and extracts value from a hand like 45s or AcJx.
