Re: 25NL second nut flush gets MR on paired board
I'd just call. I tend to respect river CR's by unknowns until they give me reason to believe otherwise.

Re: 25NL second nut flush gets MR on paired board
Indeed. Checkout this set line I saw at .25/.50:
*** HOLE CARDS *** Dealt to spiveydinho [Ts Ah] KAZAG folds ZorroMP folds Goldfish_Deluxe folds galaktiko has 15 seconds left to act galaktiko folds nimzo1 calls $0.50 Cam Gallant folds spiveydinho raises to $2 wleeo folds otbdave has 15 seconds left to act otbdave folds nimzo1 calls $1.50 *** FLOP *** [Ks 5h Jd] nimzo1 checks spiveydinho bets $3 nimzo1 calls $3 *** TURN *** [Ks 5h Jd] [3h] nimzo1 checks spiveydinho checks *** RIVER *** [Ks 5h Jd 3h] [Qc] nimzo1 bets $48.15, and is all in spiveydinho: SHIP IT spiveydinho calls $39.90, and is all in Uncalled bet of $8.25 returned to nimzo1 *** SHOW DOWN *** nimzo1 shows [Jh Jc] three of a kind, Jacks spiveydinho shows [Ts Ah] a straight, Ace high spiveydinho wins the pot ($87.55) with a straight, Ace high I raise for value from a 6 or a lower flush. Fold a 4 bet. |

Re: 25NL second nut flush gets MR on paired board
Well he may have checked the flop with the intention to C/R with a set but when he filled up on the turn he decided to slow play. Thats just my guess.

Re: 25NL second nut flush gets MR on paired board
That's possible. I think it's just as likely that he did the same thing with a 6, or picked up a flush on the turn.
Where I play, that's just as likely as having a FH here. |
