100nl bvb 150 deep rr pot
villain is 21/21/infty over 85 hands.
i've 3bet him 4 times in not too many hands and he's folded every time. (this is 5tyh time i 4bet him at this table) I think the check on flop is good, but what about turn raise? What if he shoves? Re: 100nl bvb 150 deep rr pot
you 3 bet him in this hand. Why do you like your check on the flop? In the future don't show that he folds to your raise. I wouldn't mind calling the turn here some of the time when I have the A of diamonds.

Re: 100nl bvb 150 deep rr pot
because it would suck to get checkraised on that flop, as i have gutter+backdoor fd.

Re: 100nl bvb 150 deep rr pot
Would you check AA, KK, QQ, TT on the flop?
I feel that just calling the turn bet is better than raising because you cant really call if he shoves. |

Re: 100nl bvb 150 deep rr pot
Don't like the turn raise. He's never calling - just shoving or folding. You can't afford to call a shove. You turn your hand into a bluff when you have a hand that you can showdown and with lots of outs when behind.

Re: 100nl bvb 150 deep rr pot
turn raise sucks, you had the best hand. You're either getting called by better and have to hit your flush/st8 or he is folding.

I bet the flop, mixing it up a bit here is fine though (edit: given history I prefer checking the flop this time). Def call turn.

I think the fact that I would bet AA/KK here is not too relevant given that I've 3bet him a lot. Since he's always folded my 3bets, either: a) he has a really strong hand that will at least call the flop bet or b) he's just making a play, in which case it's not terrible to check behind and possibly let him bluff turn. |
