Villain is a relatively solid player, who chek called the whole way and then jammed the river...

Bet more on the turn (like pot-sized).
Don't bet the river. And unless you've seen villain pull this move repeatedly as a steal, I think you can fold the river. Lots of ways to get quartered, and at best it looks like you get half of $22.50 back... |

At best, you call and will have invested $103.20 and get back around $106 if you win the low. At worst, you call and get quartered and get back around $53 which is a net loss of ~$50.
You don't have much invested in this hand ($15), so that supports a fold since you are at best playing for half the pot. (Where's Buzz to crunch the numbers?) But remember this move when you have the nut high. So many times you can crush the pot if you have nut flush or top boat without ANY low hand, because you will get the nut low to fold out of fear of being quartered. |
