Default abarber\'s transformation thread

Continued from this

Lack of a USB cable delayed this post until now, but it's finally time to get to work. I'm extremely motivated and will putting in a great evening workout tonight. Also, I have a calendar up on my door with the pace I need to maintain, and it looks to be about 2.5 pounds per week. Very doable, given the jump start typically associated with starting weight loss.

Pics:

Measurements:

Weight: 270
Waist: 42 in
Hips: 47 in
(Both over clothes, but I didn't want to be a nit)

Skinfolds:

Chest: 31 mm
Abs: 34 mm
Thigh: 33 mm
Bicep: 19 mm
Tricep: 28 mm

Welcome to the club of posting the before photo. May I suggest measuring the gut as well. That will differ from the waist. Also post a plan what will you be doing with weights and cardio and diet.

Tips:
-I keep a calendar on the wall and fill in waht i did for exercise that day or color the block for days you workout.

What are yourr goals also and time frame How tall are you too?

If there's one thing I've learned, it's that diet>>>exercise when it comes to losing weight. Anyone that disagrees hasn't tried both schools separately. I'll post details later, but I try to:

1) Drink tons of water
2) Load of protein (esp. early in the day)
3) Small meals
4) Low/no carbs
5) Lift

If need be:
1) Supplements
2) Fasted cardio
3) Carb cycle

PS - Back off on the chest hair...chicks dig it

No I would actually just shave it all off, including the back hair. He's a hairy guy, it all needs to go.

Good luck with your diet plans OP.
