50NL: Top 2 pairs on flop...where did I go wrong?
http://www.pokerhand.org/?1223347
I had to suck out on the river to win this hand. What was the right move pre-flop and on the flop for this hand? Should I have shoved the turn? Thanks. |

Don't limp/call preflop, raise it up the first time. c/r the flop bigger, you raised barely more than the minimum. No need to push the turn, a bet of 25ish is good

Raise pre-flop. If you are going to check raise on flop raise bigger. Don'r overbet shove the turn...make a normal bet.

Better Than U, there is a reason behind posting it twice that I cannot discuss.

You need to raise more on that flop. You can't check-raise and give him that great of odds to call. Turn push is standard.
Edit: Yeah I didn't realize you didn't raise pre. If you're gonna play it, raise it. |
