Default Observed Rakes in New Florida

Now that Florida has a playable, legitimate, legal game, I was wondering what people from around the state have seen as far as rakes. Most places are probably at about 10% but is it shifted more to time drops than pulled from each pot? Do the Hard Rocks differ from Dog Tracks or Horse Tracks? Thanks for the help

Hard Rock in Tampa is taking 10% up to $5 a hand plus $1 for the jackpot (royal flush of spades) on all pots over $10.

Sounds bad, and it is, but the action is worth it. It's a nightly donkfest, and everyone is invited. Be prepared to put your time in and build up a stack (with the $100 max it really limits your ability to make moves early). Wait out the nuts and you'll be fine.

Tampa Greyhound was the same I believe (only went there once, wasn't impressed at all with the service, room, or staff or action).

TAMPA DOWNS has a timed rake per half hour and so does Sarasota.

DERBY LANE has a $5 max rake plus $1 for the bad beat jackpot..........happy hour 12-2 and 6-8(1.50 beer) and they offer free peanuts continuously...........have fun.

Amazing, in Vegas one can get free food, drinks.......freerolls, gifts and all for less rake.

FLORIDA is a funny, funny state in many more ways than one. Definetly the minor leagues of gambling as a whole.

Enjoy the lottery on your stay in the Sunshine state and be sure to wear your sunscreen.
