NL50 - TPTK on ragged turn facing AI from unknown villain
NL50. No reads on villain.
Is it correct to be folding here without much deliberation? I would 3bet pre and raise flop.

Re: NL50 - TPTK on ragged turn facing AI from unknown villain
I'd 3bet this preflop too.
As played, I'd only call the flop and either bet or call the turn, but there is no point in raising the turn (esp. in minraising). But you clearly can't call his shove. |

Wouldn't you say any raise other than a minraise would commit us?

Re: NL50 - TPTK on ragged turn facing AI from unknown villain
I think their is still value in raising the flop. If villain goes crazy I am done, but it may also let us ck behind on turn and get to showdown.
Meh, if he calls the flop and cks turn I am definitely betting this turn as well. Then evaluate from there. |

Wouldn't you say any raise other than a minraise would commit us? [/ QUOTE ] Yes, but there is little fold equity if you minraise, so it basically only builds a larger pot. But as I've said, just call this turn and hope to get a cheap showdown. |

I'd 3bet pre-flop. As played I'd call flop like you did and I would just call the turn bet. As played you have to fold to his turn 3bet.

Re: NL50 - TPTK on ragged turn facing AI from unknown villain
i see a couple things wrong with the way you played this:
1. reraise preflop, many have said this 2. if SB bets into you on a flop like this, wouldn't a raise give you more information than a call? 3. if you're going to raise on the turn, don't min-raise |
