Default leaving vegas; quick question

in theory how would you guys go about leaving vegas with a lot of cash...just fly out with it? assuming one has all the W2 forms and whatnot would i find myself getting hassled a lot by airport security? i've heard of some horror stories in the past regarding flying with a decent amount of cash...any way else to get it home to my bank w/o having a branch here in LV? just any advice would be helpful

thanks

(wasn't sure where to post this but was thinking some of you MTT guys might have had the same situation at some point in the past so if needs to be moved go ahead)

I brought 40k with me no problem. The people can't do [censored] to you if you're flying domestic.

If you are flying within the US, they will never ask you if you are carrying over 10K. If you are flying outside the US, just say "yes" on the customs form. I brought about 15K back from Vegas to Costa Rica, checked Yes I have more than 10K, was asked what it was, I said I did well in Vegas, thank you sir go ahead.

I've also travelled through the US and checked the "yes more than 10K" before, and never had any problems. Just make sure you say "Yes" on that form because if they catch you with it and your form says no, then you'll have a horror story.

That's only International flights. Traveling inside the U.S. you can carry ONE MIIILLLION DOLLARS and not have to report it.

this is only if you are travelling internationally. if you are travelling within the u.s. then you do not need to report anything.
