Default Kind of unusual for me- JJ play

I raise JJ in the cutoff and a loose, kind of donkish player calls OTB and the SB calls.

Flop is 5, 7, 2 with no flush draw possible. SB checks, I pot 3/4 pot, loosie goosie calls and SB folds.

Turn is an 8 and I bet 2/3 pot and get min-raised. I think about folding but decide to call. Meh, probably should fold.

River is a 5 and I block it for $40

What do we think? I now beat his 2 pair hands but anything that's boated up raises, and he never has trips here (or should say, if he does, he never just calls with them). I think I can still get value from 78 or A8 or hands like those obviously.

I dunno about the turn call, probably a fold.

What is the river pot? Is this a 1/2 game? I don't hate the block since 78 just got counterfeited/he probably won't shove worse - I don't love it either though. Checking river seems okay, if he's loose passive I doubt he's betting a worse hand here.

I think its pretty hawt. You'll get enough calls from 99, 78, etc etc to make this fine. Not as good as folding the turn however .

I fold the turn but I like your river play.

I agree right now a turn fold looks standard but the things I can't describe- gut feeling, table dynamics, etc. told me a call was in order.

Fish- so he's never betting a worse hand on the river and we can fold to a bet. OK, except that he'll call with worse (or so I believe) which is what my best accomplishes (I think)
