AKs live
$100 live tournament
20 players to start, 8 players remaining Blinds are 150-300 with 25 antes Avg stack: 7,000 - Hero has 5,500 - Villain covers Villain opens from UTG to 1,500 (a rather large raise, his standard raise has been ~3.5x BB) everyone folds to me in MP and i see A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] Is this an auto-shove or can I just call and see the flop? btw villain is a solid player who almost never gets creative/out of line |

Re: AKs live
you are under avg, no room for fancy plays, just push your 18BBs in.

Re: AKs live
The too-large UTG raise probably means 10s or Js. Push it in there - you might even get a fold if the raiser is a woman or an older gentleman.

Re: AKs live
OP,
Or get a call with AQo from a middle-aged guy with a grumpy look on his face. By the way, think about what would happen if you called with AsKs and you missed. Barry |
