Default 5/10 jj op

Villain is a tighter tag and doesn't seem to like me much, I dont feel like ive gotten out of line with him but i guess he watches me play the table a bit looser.

I'd probably 3-bet the flop $700, 50% of the time, and fold to a shove. The other 50% I'd call, like you did but not check turn when board paired. I'd bet out that turn. Based on the way you played it, I think you made the right river decision but I feel there's not much you should be scared of other than a flopped set. Eh, I'd probably look him up on the river and be insta-reloading at the same time

yeah good point. at work and didn't sleep a single wink last night. not working on all cylinders yet. anyways, it's made me really rethink the original dilemma. i don't think he's playing anything you beat like how he did. retrospect - fold.

I think you're reading the HH wrong. How does hero 3bet flop?

I'd call the flop bet and fold on the turn.
