B & M Dealer Confessions Thread
What's the worst mistake you ever made? Noticed or un noticed.

Re: B & M Dealer Confessions Thread
I was still rather green, dealing 30/60 (our highest game, full of obnoxious snooty types), and I spread four cards on the flop. Twice. After that I got a new setup and learned to deal out the flop cards differently.
At my regular drunken crazy donkfest Monday nights, I once dealt out a flop using the other deck. Nobody noticed except for me after it was over. I elected to move on without saying anything (two players, short-stack all-in preflop, best hand won unimproved). |

Re: B & M Dealer Confessions Thread
I read this you dealt preflop from one deck, flop from the other:
"I once dealt out a flop using the other deck" |

Re: B & M Dealer Confessions Thread
Right. Since all the pocket cards were from the same deck, you couldn't have black kings vs. black kings. You could have a player with black kings in his hand and more black kings on the board.

Re: B & M Dealer Confessions Thread
I am not a dealer but saw the following yesterday at a local tourney...
Under the gun pushes, everyone folds except the player to all-ins right. She has is checking her hole cards, when the dealer starts to push the pot to all-in. He sees the pot coming his way and throws his hand into the muck. The dealer notices that she is still in the hand and instead pushes her the pot. Under the gun is pissed, but the dealer looks at him and says ,"you can't win without a hand". LOL |

Re: B & M Dealer Confessions Thread
I dealt the draw cards backwards in a 300-600 game between two well known players. They didn't notice.
