Default Value of 1/2 Point in Baseball Over/Unders?

Suppose an over/under for a baseball game is 10 (over= -120, under= +110). If you wanted to move the line to 10.5, how much should the over/under lines be shifted?

In my experience, shifting a line by a half point roughly gives you a little more than 4% difference in odds.

For instance, if you have an over 9.5 and you think there will be 10 or more runs 60% of the time, making it over 10 changes your percentage to now about 55.high. This is based on the fact that it can now hit exactly on 10 and it will be a push instead of a win.

Hope this helps

off the 10 is about 14 cents. Off other numbers are different.

Using Pinnacle can be a good start. But sometimes they get it wrong.

Its a much better places to start unless you're savvy enough to beat their pulldown menus. It appears someone was savvy enough in soccer and raped them bad enough that they pulled the choices for that.

Regardless, if you can do it better than Pinny you are soon to be a rich man.

odd numbered MLB totals are worth more than even numbers because of the high percentage of one run games.

What's this pulldown menu in soccer you speak of? Do other books have this?
