what to do in this situation
$26 pot limit holdem mtt. 7 away from the money, youre in fourth to last place. blinds are 250/500 and you have about 8k in chips. the table hasnt been very aggressive, but there are a couple big stacks at the table. how would u play 77 from middle position? pot raise? fold?

Re: what to do in this situation
If you are in the 3rd seat to the right of the button, there is a 16% chance that at least one of the remaining players has an overpair to your 7s.
If you limp and everyone folds to the BB who checks with his Q8o, there is a 32.4% chance that he'll flop a pair. It's your decision. |

[/ QUOTE ] Probably you wanted to say that one of remaining players will have an overcard to sevens. Anyways, how did you figure out that 16 percent? |

Re: what to do in this situation
I'm not a huge PLHE player, but generally I'm open raising if I'm entering a pot. From there, especially with low PP I'm playing off of reads.
