I saw a 300BB hand between two players the other night where six high would've won ... maybe I can get their screennames for you.

Wait, you folded, right? And just want to know what range you'd call with if it was you in the hand? Pretty much anything at all really, unless you got to the river with total air which 3 way is not likely.

Huh? Easy fold pre-flop. I dump J9,JTo, etc, preflop thre, too, usually. When I don't, I'm raising, not calling.

Not completely sure I understand what you're asking in this thread.

[/ QUOTE ]You got it right, sorry if the post was unclear. I want to know if you guys call preflop with 45o in m in my situation and also if you would call t9-jto cause I'm pretty sure I call those. JT and T9 are significantly stronger than 45.

Absolutely not man...your getting 4.2 to 1, which are obviously great odds, but 45o still isn't good enough to call. Even if you hit a miracle flop like a straight or 55x or 44x or something of the sort its likely your opponents won't have jack and will fold to any amount of aggression. Your implied odds aren't as high as you think they are.

Only a huge lag would be justified in calling here..if your taggish at all pitch this all day.

What amount of $$$ would you need to make on average postflop every time you hit your miracle two pair/trips/straight to make this preflop call +EV?

Maybe one could factor in that a good player will be able to play a flopped straight draw slightly +EV against 3 players, however out of position this may be doubtful.
