Default River spot with AQ

Villain is 50/25/1 over 80 some hands.

We do have a history. I called his button raise from bb with KTs, and c/r the flop with air, picked up an oesd and doubled barreled, and c/c river when i hit str8 and we split.

He has also picked off another one of my cbets, and i did call a couple small bets on turn and river with a midpp and he had tp.

so given this, i am pretty sure he views me as crazy/aggro and spewy. River i am getting 2:1 with tpgk, but [censored] were deep and these overbets always seem to be strong hands. But the fd did miss, and he might be shoving some random weaker pair as a bluff. However, his shove could just as easily be Ax with x being on the board as well as sets or even AK.

To make a long story short, do you make this call???

Call. If he wanted value, he would bet for value. He is bluffing on a missed diamond draw.

Yeah I agree, this is a call. sucks if he played a set this way. it's not horrible if you folded.

To make this situation a little easier I would 3bet more preflop, since you guys are very deepstacked. Probably make it 6.50 preflop. If he folds to that you're not unhappy. Then he still has odds to set mine (you're just not taking those away 200bb deep), but they're less good odds, and you can play a little more confidently postflop.

Call. I think you're raise preflop was a bit too much, maybe more like $4.50 would be good. Oh well. Anyway yeah good flop and turn action. He's clearly trying to steal the pot here on the river. It's extremely unlikely that he has the straight, and if he has diamonds, he missed. Has he been known to cold call like this /w a 2 pair or connectors?

His line doesn't add up, it looks like it could possbily be a missed flush draw. If it was a set or 2 pair he would have raised earlier. Im not sure what I'd do I think I would fold for that big of an overbet. I'd fold esepcially since his aggression factor is 1.

His image is what makes you think that. People exploit others views of hos you play. He thinks that you think he's tight, so you gotta fold to a huge bet (in his mind.)

FWIW, this is a great example of a move to make against a 2p2er if you are villain and have a made hand here.

But we obv can't give villain that kind of credit here, so it's a call.
