I dont have pt yet so I don't know what "wtsd" or "w$sd" is. Unless this means he is super aggro post flop, I don't see how we can possibly go on with this hand. The only hand we beat is 9x or a bluff...and there isn't a single draw out there.

and what beats us? 22, 44, 99, TT. Villian is not playing a set like this. The only hand that beats us is TT. Villian has 9x here a lot and might felt as he puts us on AK.

I wouldn't be surprised to see the old 3,5 here from this kind of player, especially if it's soooooooooooooted.

No reason not to think he could have a set too. Donks hit hands too sometimes.

I think I call this and try to get to showdown as cheap as possible.

You are beat loads here. I'd just call his flop lead a lot.

agreed. however, if i'm raising here it's to get it in b/c i think he'll call something like T9 or a draw.

Playing this hand fast is a big, big leak...
Just take it slow. I would fold as played.

Really? "Loads"... you don't think he leads here with the st8 draw and any 9.??? 79,89,9T,J9,Q9,K9, hell.. A9.

Donks tend to lead with draws and weak TP in my experience. The reraise is what would scare me, but not enough to fold. I fold to a strong bet on the turn.

Why raise flop? He'll reraise with a better hand and slow down with a worse one. I think since everyone is so agressive today that callingstation tactics (given you hold a reasonably good hand) are rewarded, just because people won't stop betting mediocre hands if they are not facing a lot of resistance. If they are handing out money, why make them stop by raising?

Looking at his stats he might very well be betting a worse hand than yours here most of the time and you don't have to protect against any draws.

One strange thing: he will probably expect a cbet from you and still he chooses to bet into you! If you interpret it like strength I like your raise if you plan to fold to a reraise. You might get away cheaper than if you just call, because of the information it gives you. Maybe minraise instead? Or would that be too obvious or trigger a reraise?
