Brag: Got challenged to a heads up match by Amarillo Slim

So im playing 5/10 NL at the Rio, waiting for the 10/25 tables to open (it was kinda slow) and I begin to complain theres no high limit action and how its so slow today etc. So this old fart who looks like he's about to fall out of his chair(he was complaining of the room spinning) sitting directly to my right at the table challenges me to a heads-up match. I say 'sure ok' and im thinking this is going to be a quick buck since its some 5/10 fish who prolly wants to gamble his social security money or something.

So we get up to go play heads up while some of the other players begin cracking up. I ask whats so funny but they wont say. I get to the other table with this old guy and he starts buying chips. We agree to play 10/25 HU and the floor doesnt charge us any time since we starting the 10/25 for them.

While he asks for chips, the chiprunner, says 'sure thing Slim', and then I think about it for a while and realize he looks an awful lot like Amarillo Slim Preston (he even had a big cowboy hat on). I ask the dealer and sure enough its him. At this point I still want to play him heads up, but not 10/25 as its going to get deep and I know he's good and not afraid of money. So I offer 5/10 but he only wants to play higher. I begrudgingly agree to play 10/25, but we only get one hand in before someone else sits down at the table and demands to play. Slim wants to make it a private game, but the floor wont let him and so the other guy gets to sit. Slim doesnt want to play 3-handed and so he leaves and goes back to his 5/10 game, promising to do battle with me later.

I play the other guy heads up 10/25 and end up taking him for his whole 7500 after a 2 hour heads up match, but after that im exhuasted and dont want to play Slim heads up at all anymore. He still wants to play me though lol Everytime he sees me he offers to play.. one of these days ill take him up on his offer.

Brag: got challenged to a 10/25 NL heads up match by Amarillo Slim.

Beat: Only got to play him 1 hand before we had to open the game to other people.

Brag: Beat the snot out of the other kid HU who had to ruin on the fun and join our game causing Slim to leave.

Variance: He has vowed to play me in the future for "as high as stakes as you can go". Hmmm hu for bankrolls anyone?
