Playing against the guy who has to leave
$10 SNG on Full Tilt. This is all in level 1 blinds 15/30
few hands play out as normal. About the third hand in, Player X raises, player Y reraises, then Player Z goes all in for 1500 or so. X folds Player Y calls. Y shows AK suited, Z shows 24 off. Y wins the hand but only started with 1200 as he lost a pot earlier. Several people are confused with his push as Y was surely calling. But after Z has 300 or so left but tells the table he has to leave and thats why he did it and he proceeds to push every hand. After all fold next few hands the following occurs. HasToLeaveGuy has 350 left is on the button. folds to hero in MP with AdQh. Hero ? My goal here is basically to get heads up with the button for all his chips as my hand is great against ATC which is what he will push with. problem is that when i limp or raise normally the table knows i will call his raise/reraise but i don't want a third player in the hand. Limp/Raising to say 120 i now run the risk of a blind iso-shoving me light to push me off a better hand to get more dead money in the pot and get heads up agains Button. Regardless of my action if a Blind comes along do i reraise to push him out? do i simply call and play flop as usual or bet dry side pot on a missed flop to push Blind out if he calls. This will be awkward as pot on flop will be roughly 1100 and i will have 1150 left on flop but will have no idea where anyone stands. I'm all over the place on this but what do you guys think is the best plan of action here and why? |

Re: Playing against the guy who has to leave
do your raise in MP, if hastoleaveguy comes over the top and the blinds fold, then call. If the blinds come over the top after hastoleaveguy allins, then fold.

Re: Playing against the guy who has to leave
if a blind happens to call hastoleaveguy's push, simply call behind in position, and play the pot out.
