Default AK RR pot vs river shove...

Hero has been playing v aggro.

Villain in this hand seems competent, probably a 2p2, no stats though.

I put villain in this hand on a PP 22-99/SC 45-JTs given preflop action, SC's included since we are deep. I believe he would RR w/ TT+.

I bet the flop because I didnt think SB had much of a hand after his flop check on this board, and thought I could get BTN off of most of his range.

After flop call, I dunno. Turn makes it less likely he has a set, and I dunno(doubt) he checks behind a boat here. Fold or call the shove?

what do you expect to see casper?

I only think you beat a pp that he decided to turn into a bluff. I think it's a fold.

button calls your flop bet (with the pre flop 3 bettor left to act, very significant and shows huge strength imo) so he doesn't have AK/AQ etc

I'd actually be pretty confident in putting him on exactly 99 or 66 as I think he would check behind on the turn a decent amount after you've shown weakness by checking.

The way the hand has played, he can put you on ace (and judging by your read he is a thinking player) and you really can't put him on an ace...so seems a relatively standard fold

very interesitng hand though which I could have summed up wrong, nice to hear others thoughts

I'd bet more on the flop if I decided to bet. I think btn prolly takes one off w/ any pp for 1/2 pot.

He should rly be betting turn w/ a boat/quads but people still love to slowplay and w/o more of a read I cant imagine him sticking 150bbs in on a bluff when it's fairly obv you've just hit an Ace.

seems like your hand is pretty much face up here and since nobody ever folds TPTK in a rr pot, why would he expect you to? This just isn't the board for competent players to be trying to push you off of an A here with 88 or w/e.

I think it's a fold, you said he was decent so It's hard to put him on a hand you beat. And I wouldn't give credit for a bluff unless you had some history. In my view he could have 22,66,99,A6s,A9s.

I put these Axs because they make sense pre, you guys being so deep, and he might play them so passively because he is afraid of overpairs. I think they are some of the more likely hands actually.
