Default some hands from first session in a while, 5/10

villain in first four hands is 23/18/3.81

Flop: ($70) T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players)
SB bets $50, Hero calls $50.

Turn: ($170) J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players)

SB bets $325, Hero raises to $757 (All-In).

Obviously raising flop and or turn is standard but when i got to turn I felt he was barreling a good % of time and a turn raise looks quite strong so he may fold alot of legit hands, while if we get to river he may value bet light and/or look me up light

1) standard. I prob raise the flop alot of the time but just callin is fine too. River plays itself

2) Call. We beat all bluffs and value bets of worse hands (K9, Kx) but lose to AJ,Q10 both of which seem possible. Nonetheless, you are getting a price too good to turn down i think

3)Maybe i'm a nit but i fold all day here. You are either crushed by a set or marginally ahead of/behind nut flush draw/combo draws. And once in a while villain has a bigger overpair.

4)standrd
5) standrd

1) Looks fine.
2) We have to call this given the price, but we're going to be shown broadway or Aces up quite a bit of the time I think.
3) Probably not raising flop to fold to a shove. I don't mind this line seeing as only sets really beat you and the board is pretty drawy. I still prefer a flop call I think.
4) Yah give up.
5) Yeah, don't see how he can have a boat here unless he has A2, 22 or some very odds QQ+. Shove and get value from Aces up etc.
6) I like it.

1 - my default is 3betting preflop, or raising flop and turn as played. i like your reasoning behind just calling the turn, but there a lot of terrible cards for your action. and villain can still put you on hearts/56/68 and call with an overpair or something.

2 - looks good, call river. you have Ah so he can't have Ahxh and it's hard to see him calling with Kx. KJ/K9 pay off but there are not enough hands.

3 - ugh, gross. 850 more to you with ~500 in dead money so you need to win ~38%. usually it's going to a be a draw or a set, very rarely Tx. you do have 98 pretty crushed but most draws you're not going to be much ahead of. i guess i'd call. there are only 9 sets but there a lot of draws that could play this way. if you're 60% vs a draw and 10% vs a set then you only need it to be a draw slightly more often than a set.

i would sometimes call flop.

4 - i'd give up as played. you could also shove preflop. you're 120bb deep which is annoying, but he has KK+ very rarely and i dunno, he might make a hero call with AQ. playing postflop is going to be hard no matter what the flop if you call.

5 - how could you do anything but shove here? are you scared of A2s and 22? that's 3 hands.

6 - standard

Hand 1-std
Hand 2- fold pre as played tho probably a mustcall river
Hand 3- he bet/3bet you, looks like a draw or weaker hand blind on blind, I call shove all day
Hand 4- It's probably ok to give up postflop, but I've seen AQ and AK cold call your 4bet preflop, and besides you still probably have 8 outs vs like JJ and QQ, so I make like a $500 bet and commit myself to commit to the hand
Hand 5- Just call the PSB on river because it looks RELE fishy facing a PSB from a VERy passive player.
Hand 6- std iso shove

Without reading any of the responses...

1. I like it.
2. I just call.
3. I would call, the board is so draw heavy and it seems like you guys have been battling.
4. Definetly check fold.
5. I'm pretty confused by his line. I could be convinced either way on this hand.
6. Looks standard.

Hand 1 I would probably just flat call the river.

Hand 2 I'd call but wouldn't feel too good about it.

Hand 3 As played I'd fold. I don't think I'd raise the flop though without a plan/specific reason. You're letting him off the hook with most T's or bluffs, while allowing him to either shove sets/combo draws and putting you in a difficult spot. I would only do this if I thought he was crazy enough to put in huge action with top pair type hands, in which case I would call the shove.

Hand 4 Give it up

Hand 5 is good

Hand 6 sure. Really anything other than folding is acceptable.

1 I just call the river
2 I call
3 I like just calling the flop bet often but raising is fine as long as you're willing to insta-call a shove.
4 Give up
5 I shove
6 I shove
