Re: $109 on PS
I am never folding here unless I know the villains and know they are super nitty. Otherwise, there are just way too many donks that I do not think this is a profitable fold. You are too deep in the tournament and have too shallow of a stack to fold here imo.

Re: $109 on PS
Im never folding KK in a tourney either, there would have to be some pretty good reason on my part to do this. Like in a satellite for instance when 2 people r all-in ahead of me and we are 1 to the prize and im the shortstack.

Re: $109 on PS
obv call. too short to fold, and you're good here a lot anyways
i'd say standard ranges w/o any reads are MP2: 99+, AQ+, maybe even 88 or AJs UTG: QQ+, AK, maybe JJ-TT, AQs |

UTG is what got me. i see this play so often, and it just screams AA. i talked to a few players and they agreed QQ, KK, and AA were a correct range to give him. some suggested that QQ is a little too loose though. |

This play does look alot like AA i agree but there are time when its not, like i said Im not letting go of my KK here. edit: Ohh ya MP2 does only have a little more then 10BB so UTG could be putting him on a wider range then you are and trying to squeeze u out. |

[/ QUOTE ] MP2 is pretty short, not desperate yet though, so ok maybe i can agree on that range for him. true UTG will show up w/ AA here a good amount, but i see people do that w/ KK,QQ and AK too. Either way even if we give UTG and MP2 you're presumed ranges you still have 36% equity. You have to call 25k to win 68k so even vs. those ranges you're getting the rigth price to call. Re: $109 on PS
AAplayer05, that is a good explanation. UTG range is deff QQ+, but out of QQ KK and AA, AA shows up i think the majority of the time. lets say all 3 of us where deeper stacked, say 50bb deep. given the same action, do i fold KK?

Re: $109 on PS
ugh i don't know...i rarely fold KK preflop due to the random donkiness that occurs in all MTT's (unless its painfully obv from the action that someone got AA, and i only remember one spot in which i folded KK preflop correctly due to being 100% i was beat and ive played a lot of tourneys) but if I'm deep enough and the table dynamics are right (table playing weak-passive, easy to run over, etc.) it probably would be ok, if not at least understandable to fold KK in this spot. in this actual spot though, i'm never folding it
