BB Special in $70 Live Tourney. How to proceed?
$70 live tournament – about 55 runners. Early in the piece, level 2 (50/100). I’m at 1950 chips after posting the BB (2500 starting stack).
I have T4o. UTG limps, MP1 limps, CO limps, Button limps, SB limps, I check. 600 in the pot & the flop is T T 6 rainbow. SB checks. How do I proceed? Should I fire here (say, 400ish)? Should I check it since it’s not a draw-heavy board at all? Reads: UTG limps a lot & makes some loose calls, MP2 & CO are solid & button nearly always bets post-flop. SB isn’t a concern in this hand, IMO. |

I would bet 300-400 or so and hope to get a raise from button.

Re: BB Special in $70 Live Tourney. How to proceed?
I guess my thinking is that the flop likely hasn't hit anyone, and they'll all fold their overcards if I bet.
I think I can afford to let them have a freebie & hopefully bleed some more out of someone if they have a Q, K or A & hit on the turn? The button has bet when checked to him, but I'm not sure how he plays when bet into. Let's skip ahead - I checked (for reasons mentioned above) and it (predictably) folded to the button, who bet 200. Now - am I flatting & hopefully bringing some more along, or raising & being satisfied with the pot as it is & taking a bet from the button? 200 looks really weak to me & I'm not sur ehe'd call even a moderate raise. |

i think u could play this alot of ways. probe bet 1/2 pot bet c call c raise. don't be shocked if u r beat here either. i like c/call. lead turn if str8 card hits. you may go broke to better 10 here

I don't think we're deep enough for me to ascertain if I'm beat here. I'd pretty much be willing to go to the well with my trips.
