Default Bellagio 10/20 NLH - 4 Flush Bluff

Not sure if this is high or medium stakes anyway interested in views on this;

I have been playing at the table for a few hours and no biggies, just regular limp pots and nothing really exciting.
Villain in this hand has around $4k a 40 something funny Australian guy. Villain has been caught on 2 value bet bluffs.

HERO covers.

HERO has BUTTON, Villain limps in MP1, 2 other limpers
Hero is dealt A [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]9 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] and raises to $160, Villain calls others fold

Flop ~ $400 is K [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]2 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]9 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

Villain checks, HERO bets $350, Villain calls

Turn ~ $1100 is 6 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] Villain checks, HERO bets $800 and Villain calls

River ~ $2700 is 4 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] Villain bets $800,
Anyone see a shove here ?

i would check the turn and fold the river. but yea, once you get here, i'd definitely shove it in.

agree with first part, think check turn/fold river. but as played i think for a bit & dump riv unless i have a good livegame read - which is obv very possible. freaking river minibets wtf.

EDIT: i missed the part about villain being caught 2x on value bet bluffs. id have to think pretty hard about how this changes the dynamic of what i posted above, but obv theres more info to the villain than just the fact that he bluffed 2x and got caught. However it makes your line seem much more attractive to me (e.g. bet turn, raise river). nh

Is it likely that given preflop passive action from Villain here that Villain has a hand like KxJ [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] here or Q [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]J [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] etc or most of the time is blocking river with a semi-bluff?

No against this guy and your read this is a shove most of the time and the few times he is inducing a shove <<< +EV for you.

His bet size and positioning is exactly his typical value bet semi-bluff and he will generally fold to your SHOVE...

I was at this table so found this hand interesting and the banter that was going back and forth which I think was also a big part of his play etc

check turn, fold river. As played he's got the flush and it's going to be hard to push him off that. The 800$ bet he made on the river is a value bet..

Shoving river = giant donation.

I dont even like the turn bet, youve turned your weak made hand into a bluff in a situation that I dont feel warrents it.

I like a smaller turn bet, like say same amount as flop bet.
