Default 25NL: 55 - turned straight meets heavy aggression

No real reads on Villain. 16/4/2.3 over 65 hands. Haven't seen him do anything ridiculous.

Full Tilt Poker - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $0.10/$0.25 Blinds - 5 Players - (LegoPoker HH Converter)

SB: $38.95
Hero (BB): $40.95
UTG: $24.20
CO: $23.30
BTN: $41.90

Preflop: Hero is dealt 5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (5 Players)
UTG folds, CO raises to $0.85, BTN calls $0.85, SB calls $0.75, Hero calls $0.60

Flop: ($3.40) 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 3[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (4 Players)
SB checks, Hero checks, CO bets $1.50, BTN calls $1.50, SB folds, Hero calls $1.50

Turn: ($7.90) 2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (3 Players)
Hero checks, CO bets $3.00, BTN raises to $11.25, Hero ???

Which player is 16/4/2.3 the CO or the button?

I'd fold the flop bet here.

Sorry, button is 16/4/2.3.

And yeah, flop call was definitely marginal. I figured I had good odds to call for my 6 non-spade straight outs and 2 set outs (unlikely someone has a 7 or a 2 for a gutshot no?)

I don't see the button having either a 7 or a 2 here very often. He would need to be calling with a gut shot on the flop. He doesn't seem like the type of player to do that. Unless he is willing to flat call with AK, I am more like to put him on a set here.

I am going to fold this hand here. You are stuck in the middle of two players that may get into a raising war. You don't have the nuts right now and could be drawing to only two outs. Also if you do have the best hand now there are a number of hands that could come on the river to beat you.

good points... what if we assume I have a strong read that CO is weak here, would that change your decision?

edit: I should say, a read based on history of betting patterns, timing, etc

Running some numbers throw pokerstove this is an easy fold unless you think the BTN would be semi-bluffing here with just the ace of spades.

I think if your going to play this hand you need to raise it on the flop. You have an OSED. On the flop I would lead out and fold if it came back to me raised and re-raised.

How much would you bet on the flop and what would be the reason for that particular amount?
