Default bankroll question

when shortstacking do bankroll requirements still mean 20 full buyins or just 20 buy ins in general?

is it subjective to the amount of the buyin or is it in stone.

I would guess you'd need more than 20 buyins (so more than 2k if you are 200nl and buying in for 100), because the variance might be higher. And you'll need a bigger cushion to reduce your RoR.
