Default 100 NL - TPTK on flop, small donk bet and large raise in front

Can I be good here? (say if UTG is donk betting a FD and Button is punishing with medium pocket pair or KQ???)

Full Tilt No-Limit Hold'em, $1 BB (6 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)

MP ($87.45)
CO ($77.30)
Button ($115.65)
SB ($99)
Hero ($135.25)
UTG ($100)

Preflop: Hero is BB with A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].
UTG raises to $3.5, 2 folds, Button calls $3.50, 1 fold, Hero calls $2.50.

Flop: ($11) 2[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (3 players)

Final Pot: $11

HERO checks, UTG bets $8, Button raises to $26

Uhm im very interested in see what people would think of this hand.

Do you have any reads on your opponents?

I think i would call this and try to get a cheap SD, if faced heavy action i might be able to fold this readless.

To the rest of you guys, how would our actions differ if we hold the A of hearts?

Nothing super solid but UTG liked to bet a lot and Button seemed pretty smart/selectively-aggro, meaning I could give him credit for possibly making a play on the donk bet.

Calling pretty much commits us since the pot will be $71 if we call and a flush draw might push over us, so I think I just push first.

Not a donk bet. Continuation bet from an UTG raiser into two players. Not as strong as it would be if he were OOP to both players, but still a pretty strong bet and button is raising him, which is representing that the flop hit him hard. That's tough, though, as the only legit hand he can have that hits that flop hard is QQ, and that would(?) 3bet preflop.

Looks like a KQ/QJ/JJ/TT or NFD type hand from button unless he's the type to slowplay QQ+. UTG is probably betting most of what he raised with preflop here, maybe with smaller pairs being the exception. Say, AJ+, KQ, 88+ or so.

You're ahead a lot here, but are in a nasty reverse implied odds situation. You're going to get killed by AA/KK/QQ and have a hard time extracting from pairs < QQ. KQ is the only hand you'll realistically get good value against.

Really crappy spot, especially without good reads. If you raise you're almost bluffing but are pretty commited to calling a shove by that point. If you call, you're going to often be facing another big bet on the turn and be pot commited by the river.

This is why I either 3bet or fold pre-flop. That way I have the initiative in those situations where we do actually see a flop. That doesn't make everything easy, by any means, but it does give me more control over what's going on and allows me to more effectively extract value when I'm ahead.

As played, I probably call, but geez I'm not happy about it.

Hero calls $26, UTG folds.

Turn: ($71) 3c

Hero checks, Button bets $40.

Why are you checking this flop? to checkraise? I'd have bet about $8 into the PF raiser and if the action had gone raise by UTG and RR by Button then you are easily done with the hand.
