AA - Difficult River Call
I've been on the table with this guy for a couple of hundred hands, I've not seen him do anything stupid and generally seems to be playing fairly passively...ie not doing much re-raising.
I wasn't sure whether to raise on the river and fold to a re raise. What are peoples thoughts on this one. Pacific Poker No Limit Holdem Ring game Blinds: $0.25/$0.5 6 players Converter Stack sizes: UTG: $50.5 UTG+1: $48.5 CO: $199.01 Button: $78.84 Hero: $115.5 BB: $30.45 Pre-flop: (6 players) Hero is SB with A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 2 folds, <font color="#cc0000">CO raises to $2</font>, Button folds, <font color="#cc0000">Hero raises to $6.25</font>, BB folds, CO calls. Flop: K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] ($13, 2 players) <font color="#cc0000">Hero bets $9</font>, CO calls. Turn: 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] ($31, 2 players) <font color="#cc0000">Hero bets $15</font>, CO calls. River: K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] ($61, 2 players) Hero checks, <font color="#cc0000">CO is all-in $168.51</font>, Hero folds. Uncalled bets: $168.51 returned to CO. Results: Final pot: $-107.51 |

Re: AA - Difficult River Call
easy fold, but I'd make a PSB on the turn.

Re: AA - Difficult River Call
Why do you check de river? Its really induce a bluf there are 2 missed FD out there and they both going to bluff you of AA..
If you just bet and fold by a raise its more likly that youre beat.. I almost want to call here.. |

Re: AA - Difficult River Call
You played it fine except for your turn bet sizing. You were correct to check the river, bet/fold is usually a good line, but here the "block" part of bet/fold will never work since villain is always raising with the nut boat.
