Default Re: AK on K hi board, vs other big stack

Given the depth of stack sizes
1) Raise more preflop(not mandatory or anything though)
2) Bet way more on the flop(mandatory)

Obv. your cbets should always be the same size, but there is 12k in the pot, on such a drawy board, your standard cbet should be much larger than 4k, given the size of your cbet and size of PF raise, 64s-68s are all most likely in his range, also, 63s and 69s are likely in his range given that they called preflop.

check/call seems pretty bad on this board, how often is villain bluffing here? i think he checks behind an awful lot of hands that would call a bet that you beat, but will value town 2pair+.

Bet more on the flop. Turn check is fine IMO. I don't mind the river but I'd bet. I think the cEV is probaly more or less the same. His calling range = his betting range more or less, so we lose some value from bluffs by checking. OTOH, being seen to bet/check/bet TPTK has metagame advantages whereas bet/check/check when he checks behind is liable to tilt me a bit.

registrar,

i'm thinking kq and kj are a huge part of villain's range, and he checks behind with 98% of the time. if we bet, we migth even get a call from a pocket pair like tens, or 89dd.

I would bet more on the flop and bet the turn.
As played river is a pretty easy vbet.

I agree with everything except the part in bold. I think he'll always bet TP after being checked to twice and expect us to call with TT etc.

I don't mind slowing down in a hand like this against another big stack. Keep the pot small, but you really need to bet the river, his hand looks a lot like JJ/TT or a weaker K and he'll probably call a bet with these more than bet it himself.
