I need opinions on this one. My raise on the flop was to pull someone off of hands like midpair with a club or A/xc. He calls. As played, what do I do on the turn? In replay, how should I have played the flop? Note that the villain is shortstacked.

You played it very well in my opinion. You can't smell he hit his two outer on the turn. On the flop you HAVE to raise (obv fold to a shove), not giving odds to draws. You can't check behind the turn because the card isn't that dangerous. Even if you check behind and the river isn't bad you're still going to lose the 7.45. Cooler. Happens.

Vs a short stack, I don't see a better way to play this.

I put him on a weaker A w/ or w/o a club; K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]X or a slowplayed weak flush in that order.

Yeah you got jammed in a real crap spot. I was gonna tell you not to raise the flop, but I think that's the right move. You could call and pray for a safe turn to get it in, but villain still has a flush a lot anyways.

That's pretty bad play from villain lol- tough spot, why would someone bet $1 there - if I was going to raise the flop I probably make that raise $4.50 (especially with his stack size).
