Default My stars \'rakeback\' calculations (5/10 6-max)

Hi All

I'm trying to decide if I should go back to FTP with 27% RB or stay at stars and take a shot at getting supernova.

Quick background:
- I'm playing 5/10 6-max
- I play around 2k hands/month

So I've stuck my 12k (should be enough for these calculations) worth of stats from stars into a spreadsheet and came up with this.

Rakeback Calculation

I'm posting this so:

a) If someone would like to tell me if I have stuffed something up. This is certainly possible.
b) I figure someone else might be interested in the same stats.

A few quick notes:
- Cell B1 (VIP Multi) is what your VIP status is. 1.5 for plat, 2.5 for SN, etc.
- Row 6 (MGR) is just what PT shows
- I have two calculations for how many hands it takes to clear the bonii because the first time you have to start from scratch, but the second time you already have some points towards buying the next bonus because you need the base VPP to clear the first one. Make sense?
- The stats there are my stats for last month and this month to date. Averages are obviously averages of those.

I think I got most of it right?

Thanks

if you're decent at SnGs you could try the 5400 FPPs into the sunday million. top 4 pay out. you can sell T$ for 99% in the MTT forums. it ends up being like 50% rakeback.

Hrmmm, can anyone show me some numbers on this? I've done my calculations, and it does not even come close to this. It's more like 12% at Plat and 20% at SuperNova.

PS. If anyone was looking, my first spreadsheet was full of errors. I'm in the process of fixing.

If anyone happens to be looking at this, my spreadsheet has been updated/fixed.

I'm still seeking advice.
