Flop looks good if you think he cbets alot, otherwise a call is fine, as you're getting great odds.

unfortunately no reads here because it was early and i was 14-tabeling - i fold here 80% of the time and call 20% i think - the question for me is if the flop reraise was to aggressive or a standard play - maybe i should have called but it looked like a standard cbet

Give me 1 hand that UTG raises that you are ahead of and I'll understand your 20% -- btw, you are readless, so its not like you've seen him do it with AJ or KQ. I guess calling or raising here are both fine, as you're obviously gonna get it all in here with your almost 9 + possibly 6 outs if he shoves over your raise. I think I prefer calling. He can't put you on the flush draw hu.

Call or raise on the flop is fine. I would raise to probably 400. If he calls the raise he will hopefully check the turn allowing you to draw for free to the river if you miss the turn. If he re-raises get all-in on the flop.

Folding AQs preflop in a $5 regular tournament in position to a 3x BB raise from an EP big stack is weak tight. Players in these are generally pretty bad. Folding is fine, but it definitely has to be +EV to call here.

Did you read the buy-in? This is a regular tournament with 10 minute levels. Did you notice the raiser has a big stack?

You can't seriously think a random UTG raising range is AQ+, High PP. People raise AJ, AT, KQ, QJ, pocket pairs, etc here. Why is poker profitable?

guys, youre ahead of a readless range at a 5.50 on both streets here. by raising the flop you allow yourself to win the pot two ways: both by having big equity with your overcards+draw (plus counterfeiting outs if he does happen to flop a pair here, unlikely but possible) and with the raise, giving villain room to fold, which you also dont at all mind. the hand is fine, though id perhaps make it 400 to allow myself more FE.

if you're gonna raise the flop, raise it more than 350 plz. The pot will be nearly 900 when you raise it to 350, and it's only 200 more to him.
